Money Flow Index Indicator Overview:

The MFI software is identical to the standard Money Flow Index included with the Ninjatrader platform, except that a Midpoint line is added in the oscillator subpanel.

Purpose:

Traders need the MFI software when their strategies use the Oscillator Midline for trade selection. With this tool, they have a clear view of crossovers at the Midline that impact trade execution.

Elements:

1. Standard Money Flow Index
2. Addition of a Midline in the oscillator subpanel
3. User Defined Upper/Lower Lines

Functions:

The MFI software is best used when you filter your trades based on the location of the oscillator relative to the Midline. The Midline is included in the tool so you do not have to always manually draw them. It’s a time saver and also an important check on your strategy rules.
